Shenyang Urban Construction University

Founded in July 2000, the Shenyang Urban Construction University was formerly known as Urban Construction College of Shenyang Jianzhu University. By thirteen years of great experiences, in 2013, the SUCU has been approved as a solely General Higher Institution by the Ministry of Education. The SUCU is to provide excellent professionals on Architecture Design, Urban Design, Civil Engineer, Road Communication, Project Management, Mechanical Manufacturing, Electric Information and Art Design. SUCU is a full time undergraduate university with an enrollment of 9850 students. The University located in the famous historic and cultural city-Shenyang, in the center of Great Hunnan, new administration area and culture where the transportation is convenient, facility is completed, full of atmosphere of education and culture; many opportunities for developing and creativity and make full of energy and power. The university covers 62 hectares, building area of 230,000 square meters with beautiful campus, completed teaching facility and excellent living facility. The multimedia classrooms are in the magnificent and grandiose circle type main building which it covers 50,000 square meters. The library was built by the lake and covered 19000 square meters. There are 650,000 collections in the library. Spacious faculty of Architecture and Arts and laboratory building covers 280000 square meters, international standard ground and playground. The facilities are completed for student study and living comfortably. Total faculty: 500, including: the faculties with Master’s degree: 80%, Professors and Associate Professors: 35%, many of them take on the position of the academic group and evaluation authority of the nation; province and municipalities; including famous teachers and professionals. We also employed the famous and experienced technologist, so the SCUC has high quality facilities (full-time, Part-time) to ensure the quality of education and training professionals. The SUCU has 7 undergraduate colleges and one department which including engineering, management and art, and 23 undergraduate programs which including Architecture (five years), Civil Engineering, Road and Bridge and River Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Security Engineering, Inorganic Nonmetallic Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Automation, Automation, Communication Engineering, Architecture Environment and Power Apply Engineering, Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Mechanical Design Manufacturing and Automation, Transportation, Logistics Engineering, Engineering Management, Accounting, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Environment Design, Visual Communication Design and Production Design. It has 9 higher vocational college professional majors which including Road and Bridge Engineering, Architectural Engineering Technology, Project Cost, Project Supervision, Project Management, Environmental Art Design, Animation Design and Production, Decorative Arts Design, Advertising Design and Production; these majors meet the need of economic and social development and the market demand, which apply to the needs of national construction industry and urbanization construction, have a distinct industry advantage, after 13 years of development, it have been characterized by architecture, civil engineering, professional; established pattern of giving priority to with engineering, and the mutual development of engineering, management and art. The university exerts itself advantages, the university has insisted on science and research for the construction field, service to the local economies, we have established research institutes of the Human Environment, Stone Engineering, Structure and Engineering Material, Inner Environment quality, Intelligent Construction Equipment Control, Architecture Information Technology, Engineering Mechanic Application Technology, Engineering Cost, Human Resources and Social Security. These researches are full of vigor and have great achievement.
